The more fluff a cat has, the more cuddly and lovable it is! Meet Sämpy, Hiskias Hääppönen, Elmeri, and Nelli, four adorable cats from Northern Finland who are known for their mega-fluffy coats. We’ve gathered some seriously cute photos of these cats to brighten up your day and make you smile.
Sämpy is a 6-year-old domestic cat with no specific breed, but he looks like a Norwegian Forest cat. Elmeri is a gray domestic cat at 11 years old. Hiski, the largest tabby without white paws, is a half-Norwegian Forest cat, and he’s only two years old. All of them are male and neutered. Unfortunately, Nelli, the gray-white cat, passed away earlier this year.
Riikka, the owner, shared that Sämpy enjoys outdoor activities when the weather isn’t too cold. He loves going on trips to the old forest near their house, where there’s a small river and interesting scents. Elmeri and Hiski prefer to stay in the yard or at home, but they occasionally join in on walks. The cats enjoy jumping over obstacles that Riikka builds for them in the backyard, especially during winter when it’s easier to delineate the jumping area due to the snow.
