Sharing the same birthdate, a newborn baby and a bulldog form an enchanting connection, embracing each other as brothers and presenting an irresistibly adorable spectacle.
When a baby and a puppy share the same birthday, it’s a recipe for an overload of cuteness. Chicago-based mother and photographer, Ivette Ivens, knows this firsthand as she witnesses the incredible bond between her little son, Dilan, and the French Bulldog puppy, Farley, who were both born on the same day.
From the moment Ivette saw an advertisement for a French Bulldog puppy born on the same day as her son, she knew they were destined to be the best of friends. Dilan and Farley are inseparable, doing everything together as if they were of the same species.
According to Ivette, Farley gently plays with Dilan and even tries not to snore while they both nap. Wherever Dilan goes, Farley is right there by his side, faithfully following him around.
Farley willingly takes on the role of Dilan’s helper, cleaning up after him when he eats and bringing giggles to his face by planting gentle kisses on his neck whenever he lets out a scream.
Their connection is nothing short of pure love—unconditional, irreplaceable, and inseparable. It’s a bond that warms the hearts of everyone who witnesses it.
Aside from being a loving mother, Ivette Ivens is an incredibly talented photographer specializing in children, babies, and family portraits. You can explore her impressive portfolio on her website, Facebook, and Instagram.
Be sure to keep an eye out for her upcoming picture book, “Breastfeeding Goddesses,” which is inspired by her beautiful series of photographs.
