"Nissan GT-R 2017: Price Soars to $111,585, Reflecting Increased Value"
The 2017 Nissan GT-R received a slew of minor updates and with those an updated price. The 2017 Nissan GT-R Premium, which is the base offering, sees an $8,220 price increase over the outgoing 2016 model. But do not fret, Godzilla fans, things are still in the customer’s favor. The starting price of the 2017 GT-R is $111,585.
The biggest addition for the 2017 model year is the titanium exhaust, which is now standard. Before, it was a $12,900 option. That alone is worth the price increase, and you are still saving money! Not only is the titanium pipes now standard, but the engine sees a 20-horsepower increase to 565.
Overall, the new Nissan GT-R gets some minor interior updates along with some revised exterior styling and suspension tweaks. Nissan rarely goes a year without tweaking its supercar, and since the coupe’s introduction 2007 the car has only gotten better and better.
Expect the 2017 Nissan GT-R to be on sale later this year. Pricing does include the $1,595 destination charge, so there are those savings, too. Pricing for the Nismo and Black Edition models will be announced closer to those models’ introduction dates.
