Malnourished Dog Discovered by Good Samaritan, Struggling Amidst Graveyard

When Mau was found in a cemetery, he was around two years old and in a pitiful state. A kind-hearted individual discovered him, emaciated, exhausted, dehydrated, and with labored breathing, lying helpless on the side of the road. Despite several people walking past, no one stopped to help, assuming the worst for the poor boy. Upon seeing Mau, the person who eventually took him in couldn’t hold back their tears and was overcome with sympathy for his tragic situation. As all the vets were closed due to the holiday, they had to take Mau home and try to feed him. Unfortunately, Mau refused to eat and sat slumped in the corner with a heart-wrenching expression. The next day at 8:00 a.m., the man took Mau to the Veterinary hospital for medical attention.

The specialist suspected that he had a spine issue, and so he was taken for an MRI scan. The vets were surprised by the results as they revealed that he had two bullets in his body – one in front of his chest and the other in the center of his spine.

Mau had been carrying them around for a while now, and it seemed like treating them would be quite a challenge. The levels of liver, kidney, and digestive system markers were all alarmingly low, but there was no sign of infection. It was a tough situation for those who were already struggling to get by each day.

While Mau patiently waited for the doctor to devise a solution to extract the bullet, he gradually recuperated. Regrettably, despite his perseverance, Mau’s body was unable to restore its mobility and he lost his ability to walk entirely. Despite this tragic outcome, the fact that Mau’s life was spared remains the most significant aspect of his story.

Our little one, who is usually calm and serene, has finally been discharged from the hospital. The medical professionals declined to extract the bullet as they consider the possibility of surgical failure to be very high.
