My name is John Wilhelm, and I was born in Winterthur, Switzerland in 1970. I currently reside there with my wife and our four children, consisting of three daughters and one son.

Photography has always held a significant place in my life. My father, an avid hobbyist photographer, was a founding member of two local photography associations. As a result, I grew up surrounded by cameras, magazines, lenses, homemade camera bags, darkrooms, and amusing weddings.

During my younger years, I wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about the intricacies of film and the development process. I found it to be quite fiddly.

However, everything changed when I held my first digital camera in my hands. The spark was ignited, and a remarkable journey began—a journey that involved exploring various camera systems, techniques, experiences, and ultimately, software products.

In February 2011, I made the decision to venture beyond conventional photography and immerse myself in the world of Photoshop and 3D tools. It was the best decision I ever made. Photography transformed into a complete passion for me.

Now, my photography is not limited to simply capturing moments; it has evolved into a realm of artistic expression and creativity. Through the use of Photoshop and 3D tools, I am able to create unique and imaginative photo manipulations that bring out the whimsical and extraordinary aspects of everyday life. These creations allow me to capture the essence of joy and wonder in a way that traditional photography alone could never achieve.

With my camera as my canvas and digital tools as my brushes, I embark on a never-ending exploration of possibilities. Each photograph becomes a gateway to a world of infinite imagination, where reality and fantasy blend seamlessly.
